From Spain to France – The Quaint City of Arles  

The Quaint City of Arles

After three days in Barcelona, we loaded up and headed to France to meet the rest of the Europa Villagers on board the ship Amadagio. We, of course, started in the bar with a welcome from familiar faces. Our evening included a lovely Europa hosted private dinner and, of course, Europa Village wines. Our own Dr. Doug presented each wine pairing and our beloved Dan & Beverly Stephenson were our gracious hosts.

The next day we needed some exercise before the coming afternoon’s twelve course lunch. The city of Arles is known for the many Roman ruins and is worth the walking tour.

Nicole and I were invited to lunch that afternoon with Dan & Beverly Stephenson to a 2-star Michelin restaurant, L’atelier de Jean-Lue. What a fabulous enjoyable afternoon over a twelve-course lunch. Great conversation, lots of vision discussion about the future Europa Village and did I mention the food yet??? Just a few of our courses featured here…course #2 Razor Clam, course #5 Red Mullet, one of four dessert items Apple Sliced around a Sorbet.
